MAAP Services for the Autism and Asperger Syndrome is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing information and advice to families of More advanced individuals with Autism, Asperger's syndrome, and Pervasive developmental disorder (PDD). Through its quarterly newsletter, The MAAP, the organization provides the opportunity for parents and professionals to network with others in similar circumstances and to learn about more advanced individuals within the autism spectrum.

This is a list for those with Asperger's Syndrome or their families. This list is to encourage us to look for the
positives in our situations, learn as much as we can & above all SUPPORT one another through difficult times.
AS Learning At Home
This is a list for mom's who homeschool their children who have been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome(AS) (mild autism). This list is only for those who curently homeschool or are SERIOUSLY considering homeschooling. There are other lists available to those who have Asperger's children in public school and that is a very different situation. This list is for support and encouragement -- sharing joys and frustrations of homeschooling our "special" children.

Shadow Syndrome Kids

This group is for parents of children diagnosed with both a form of PDD (Pervasive Developmental Disorder or Autistic Spectrum Disorders, such as Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, PDD-NOS, Rhett's Syndrome or Childhood Disintigrative Disorder) and BP (Bipolar Disorder). Join us as we share our experiences with our unique children and gain insight from each other as to what makes our kids tick. Members from all over the country (world!) are welcome.
