This is an international not-for-profit self-help organization dedicated to providing information and support to individuals affected by congenital ear anomalies such as aural atresia, microtia, and craniofacial microsomia. In affected infants and children, abnormally small, underdeveloped (hypoplastic), and/or malformed (dysplastic) ears (pinnae) with blind ending or absent external ear canals (microtia) may result in hearing impairment (conductive hearing loss). The organization offers networking services, conducts conferences that feature leading plastic surgeons and otolaryngologists, and offers regular support group meetings in the New York City area.
