    The Maple Syrup Urine Disease Family Support Group has a mission is to help other families to adjust to having a child with Maple Urine Syrup Disease and encourage newborn screening. They have local chapters and a parent list for people who have a child with Maple Syrup Urine Disease. They do parent-to-parent matching by giving names of those who live in the same geographyical area.

    The MSUD Family Support Group collects information on physicians and researchers who treat or study the condition and disseminate this information to its membership. They provide referrals to other resources and providers.
