The mission of this national volunteer health agency is to find a cure for Myasthenia Gravis and related disorders of the neuromuscular junction. It also strives to improve the lives of all people affected (persons with MG, their families, health professionals and the interested public) -- through programs of medical research, patient care, patient services, professional education, and public information.
Its patient services are delivered through the National Office (the 800 line listed above regarding information about MG) Chapters, and International Affliates -- which provide further information, run support groups, undertake individual counseling, and help with medical referrals.
