The Pituitary Tumor Network Association has a mission to support, pursue, encourage, promote and where possible, fund research on pituitary tumors in a sustained and full-time effort to find a cure for these illnesses. They serve patients, families, physicians, nurses and other health care providers; living with or treating pituitary tumors.
The Association has local support groups with a directory of these groups available, and will provide assistance to anyone who wishes to start a support group in their locality. They also provide parent-to-parent matching. They publish a quarterly newsletter, Network, that is included with membership and have brochures available. There is a bibliography of books and articles for members. Call for further information.
The Pituitary Tumor Network Association collects information on physicians and researchers who treat/study the condition and makes this information available to members and will make telephone referrals where applicable. The Association hosts a national conference; call for further information.
